So, as our first official post here we'll write a bit about us as a group and our innerworld.
Our group name goes by Nightmare Valley, we've 70+ members and consider our system to be partly a gateway, most of us believe our origins to be spiritual, but we have a few that leans towards psychological theories, we've been plural all our lives, though the way we worked in the past was different than today.
We're not trauma based, nor we suffered any kind of trauma throughout our lives on this side, but we avoid to use the term 'endogenic' for respect towards every and all kinds of plurality.
We have a good portion of members that was born in the body, actually the majority of us, those are normally refered by as the Originals. After we got aware of our plurality the first fifteen that were fronting at that time had access to Domum, another universe that we are deeply and intrinsically connected with, that's why we say we are 'partly' a gateway.
This side we share a body is called Praeterea by us and the other side which we sometimes refer as our innerworld is Domum, there stands our first and forever home Umbra, a rogue rocky planet with two moons and in Umbra is where our Valley stays.
The Mansion, White Rose (and the Valley itself) is a place, our home and also a sentient force that governs all of those who are part of this system, it doesn't speak, but take care of us all, even if sometimes it has to restrict someone, it's absolutely neutral and only cares for our safety and the stability of our system.
The Valley is the only continent of Umbra and despite not having a sun, one of it's moons, Caligavit is self luminescent and gives us some light, there's no seas though, only a thick black fog that covers the entirety of the planet (less the Valley). The Mansion is located in the middle of the Valley and until recently was our only home, now there are two cities that are heavily connected to the Mansion, they being Edge and Nova.
Through the Mansion we can connect with many places of Domum and also other universes besides this one, connections that are made outside our 'home universe' are called Nexus.
Others that were not born in the body are from Domum or the other worlds of Nexus, the last few years quite a number of walkins joined us, but once in you can't leave the system, our hive-mind mechanics don't permit it nor does the the Mansion.
We work pretty well together and despite the certain lack of privacy considering the way we work it's pretty good being part of that huge and kind of scary family. :)
